Description
Spencers Cottage is a house that dates from the 17th century, 18th century, and 20th century. The upper walls feature exposed timber framing with some brick infill, including herringbone patterns, while the lower part is made of painted brickwork and some stonework. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The east front of the cottage has two storeys and three windows, which are casements, along with a boarded door. There is a 20th-century rear extension and other elevations that are partly tile-hung. The cottage was formerly one of the Week Green cottages and is located 130 yards northeast of Wyke Green Farm.
