Description

The Slade is a late 18th-century house that was later remodelled in the early 19th century and is now divided into flats. It has stucco walls, an eaves fascia, and a stone plinth with stone cills. The roof is steeply pitched and covered in slate. The south front is symmetrical, with two storeys and five windows. The windows are sashes, with Victorian replacements on the ground floor. A semicircular open porch in the Greek Doric style features two full and two three-quarter fluted columns, topped by triglyphs and metopes. It has a panelled front door with side windows.
