Description

The barn at Grudds Farmhouse is a 17th-century structure featuring a combination of thatched and tiled roofing. It has a timber frame and is weatherboarded on a brick base, with part of the building situated in a wet moat. The roof is hipped on the north side and has verge tiling on the west. The barn has a large hipped roof and a central cart entrance on the west side. Inside, it consists of three bays with clasped purlin roof construction and curved braces.
