Description
The barn at Grange Farm is a 17th century structure that has undergone later modifications. It is a five-stead threshing barn built from brick and flint, topped with a steeply-pitched roof covered in corrugated iron sheeting. The barn features staged brick buttresses with moulded brick weatherings. On the north side, there are two later gabled porches that include large double doors and weatherboarded gables. The east and west gables are parapeted. The butt-purlin roof has been much repaired, and the ties have been replaced. This barn is included for its group value with Grange Farmhouse.
