Description
Brimslade Farm Cottage is a house that dates from the 17th century, 18th century, and early 19th century. It has a timber frame, although most of it has been replaced with brick, and features a thatched roof. The cottage is a single storey with an attic, consisting of three bays, including one forward bay on the right and a two-bay extension on the left that was added in the early to mid-19th century. The layout follows a lobby entry plan, with a central boarded door located in a thatched porch and 20th-century paned windows. There are two flush dormers and a third dormer on the wing. The roof extends down at the rear over narrow service rooms. Inside, there is a stair located at the side of the stack, and the interior features chamfered spine beams.
