Description
Wootton House is a mid-18th century rectory that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with five window bays. The position of the door has been altered, and a large sash window has been added to the left of the center. The windows throughout the building are twelve-paned sashes, each with 18-inch gauged brick lintels. The panels in the first and fifth bays are set back to full height, creating wide end pilasters and a three-bay center, all topped with a raised parapet. There are two sashed dormers on the roof. The end elevations have a central section that is set forward and gabled, flanked by tall chimney stacks. The attic has a window, and there are blind panels on the lower floors separated by a brick string course. To the left, there is a single-storey service extension with a gable stack. The interior has not been seen.
