C19 shopfront on ground floor, with pilasters, consoles, cornice and former blind box. Recessed canted entrance with twin leaf modern glazed doors, and plate glass closed windows, with pierced cast-iron strip ventilators above, moulded timber cills over cement stallrisers below. Arched entrance at right to twitchell. Long rear outshoots partly rebuilt formed Giffin's Yard in C19, one of the most crowded urban housing groups.
