Description

29 Baldock Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. Originally built in the 17th century, it was refronted in the 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the mid-20th century. The ground floor is constructed with thin red brick and features a modern shopfront, while the first floor is faced with stucco that has faint masonry lining, a coved cornice, and an old tiled roof. To the right, which it shares with No. 31, there is a tall red brick chimneystack that has four clustered octagonal shafts and square plan oversailing courses and caps. The building is two storeys high, with the first floor featuring two flush sash windows that have exposed boxes and small panes.
