HERTINGFORDBURY BIRCHALL LANE TL 21 SE (North side) Cole Green 5/49 Barn about 35m NE of Birchall Farm House GV II

Barn. C17. Timber frame, brick base, weatherboarded. Tiled Roof. 7 bays. To yard gabled midstreys in bays 2 and 6 linked by a lean-to stable range with 3 doors, pantiles. Outer bays have later lean-to outshuts, slate roofed to right, all corrugated sheeting to left. Inserted windows in left gable end. Attached to right end is a lower 2 bay addition with a door to yard, open gable end. Interior: braces from jowled posts to tie beams. Queen struts to collars clasping purlins, some angled struts clasp purlins.
