Description
This is a 17th-century barn located about 30 meters east-north-east of Chapel Farm House. It features a timber frame resting on a brick base and is weatherboarded with a corrugated iron roof. The barn consists of three bays and has a gabled midstrey on the central bay, which faces away from the house, with a lean-to added on the left side. The central bay is open on the opposite side and includes a loft opening. Inside, there are arched braces connecting jowled posts to cambered tie beams, angled queen struts supporting collars that clasp the purlins, passing tension braces, and original studding in the walls.
