Description
This is a 17th-century barn located 30 meters south of the farmhouse at Park Farm. It features a timber frame with weatherboarding set on high rubble sill walls, topped by a corrugated asbestos sheet roof. The barn consists of five bays, with the fifth bay extending beyond a closed truss. There are doors to the central bay, and the right (north-west) bays are two-storey. The structure includes slightly cambered tie beams with straight braces connecting to jowelled posts, as well as raking struts and collar beams. Wind braces support the two-tier butt purlins, and there are various lean-to structures attached.
