Description

This is a 17th-century barn located approximately 30 metres east-north-east of New House Farmhouse. The barn is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a roof covered in corrugated iron. It consists of four bays and is aligned with a midstrey to the south. There are lean-to extensions on each side of the midstrey. The structure features jowled posts, primary straight bracing, straight tiebeams with arched braces, and a queen strut roof that has a reduced pitch to accommodate the corrugated iron cladding.
