Description
No. 118 on Sheering Mill Lane is a 17th century or early 18th century, two-storey house that features a timber frame and a thatched roof with a steep gable. It has an internal gable chimney on the west end made of English bond brickwork. The front displays panelled pargetting with a basket work pattern and a chevron pattern. There are two windows and a central door that is sheltered by a rustic gabled open porch with a tin roof. The windows are three-light, small-paned narrow casements. At the rear, there is a lateral chimney on the east side along with a two-storey flat-roofed outshut. Additionally, there is a small weatherboarded lean-to with a wavy bargeboard against the east gable, contributing to the building's picturesque appearance.
