Description
No. 3 Fair Green is a prominent small corner house dating from the mid-19th century. The building features a plastered first floor above a tile string course, while the ground floor is constructed of yellow stock brick with segmental arches made of red rubbed brick. It stands two storeys high and has two windows flanking a central door. The steep Welsh slate roof is topped with a central stack that has red brick banding. The eastern half of the front has a gable with a heavy bargeboard. The windows are two-light with wooden frames and 18-pane cast iron casements. The entrance consists of a four-panel door with fielded panels. This house remains unaltered and is an important part of a distinguished group of buildings, which is why it has been listed for its group value.
