Description
This barn, located about 20 meters east-north-east of Broom Hall Farm House, is a 17th-century structure that has been altered in the 18th century and later. It features a timber frame set on a brick base and is weatherboarded. The barn has a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof and consists of six bays. There are three doors and a gabled loft opening facing the yard, with the loft opening situated in the left gable end. Inside, the barn has jowled posts with curved braces supporting slightly cambered tie beams, and queen posts that connect to collars clasping the purlins.
