Description

Blair Cottages, located on Hadham Road in Standon, is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It features a tiled roof with a central brick chimney stack. The exterior is adorned with plastered fan pargetting and is weatherboarded above a low brick plinth. The building has two storeys and two windows, which are casement 3-light windows set in flush frames. There is a central flush panelled door within a plain case, topped by a small hood supported on shaped brackets. The return sides of the building are also weatherboarded, with No 1 set back on the right.
