Description
Cliffe Cottages, located at 4 North Road, is a house dating from the late 16th or 17th century. It features a timber frame with exposed small panel framing and roughcast infill, resting on a painted brick base. The roof is plain tiled and has a half-hipped design on the right side, with a chimney stack on the left. The building stands two stories high on a raised plinth made of rubble and brick. On both floors, there are wooden casement windows: a two-light window to the left and a three-light window to the right. A central boarded door is situated at the top of a flight of five steps, which has a landing and is flanked by single iron rails.
