Description

A pair of former 18th-century cottages, now combined into a single house, stand on North Road in Goodhurst. The construction is of painted brick and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, built upon a plinth. The roof is half-hipped on the left side and gabled on the right, with a stack situated centrally. Five glazing bar sashes are irregularly spaced on the first floor, and three are on the ground floor. A multi-paned canted bay window is located at the left end, accompanied by a glazed door and a boarded door. The boarded door is sheltered by a double-width flat hood supported by brackets. A second boarded door is positioned to the right, accessed by a flight of three steps and featuring a rectangular fanlight above a flat hood on brackets.
