Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century, located on the east side of North Road in Goudhurst. It features a timber frame that is clad with red and blue brick, along with tile hanging on the first floor. The roof is plain tiled and has two storeys with a hipped design, including a gablet on the left side and a cluster of stacks on the right. On the ground floor, there are two three-light leaded wooden casements to the left and a multi-pane casement to the right. To the right, there is a half-glazed door, while a boarded door is located to the left return at the top of a flight of steps. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.
