Description
Tulip Hall is a house located on Clacton Road in St. Osyth, dating from the 17th to 18th century, with later alterations. The building is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tiled roof and features a central red brick chimney stack. At the rear, there is a truncated red brick chimney stack on the left side. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range of three-light casements with glazing bars, except for a 19th-century bay on the ground floor to the left, which has various sliding sashes. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door flanked by fluted pilasters, with a moulded frieze and a moulded soffit supporting a flat canopy.
