Description

The Kings Arms is a public house with origins dating back to the 16th century, featuring later alterations and additions. It has a timber-framed structure that is faced with painted brick from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is topped with a hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. There are external red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides, with the later stack positioned forward of the ridge.

The building stands two storeys high and has four vertically sliding sash windows with horns and glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor features three windows with pierced ventilators, pilasters, and dentilled canopies above. To the left, there is a pair of doors flanked by pilasters and topped with a painted dentilled canopy, while a single door to the right has an open pediment with a dentilled soffit supported by brackets. At the rear, there is a wing that dates from the 18th century.
