House. Early C17, altered in C18 and early C19. Timber frame roughcast with steep old red tile roofs, half hip at W corner and slated rear outshut. An L-plan 2-storeys house on the corner facing S. 2-room plan with rear lateral chimneys and service wing to NW. S front has 2 windows to each floor and central door. Flush box sash windows with moulded architrave and 8/8 panes. Shutters to lower windows. Triple sash to RH of door. 4-panel flush beaded door in narrow moulded surround with small hood. 'Royal' firemark on W gable over canted bay window with leaded lights and tiled roof. 2-and 3-light flush casement windows on W side of service wing. 3-light mullioned window with plate casements to lean-to rear part. Entrance into main room with 3 chamfered cross-beams and chamfered joists with ogee-and- bar stops. Formerly called Parliament House.
