Description
No. 7 London Road is a house attached to No. 5, built in the early to mid-19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a double pile hipped slate roof, with gault brick stacks on the front ridge and rear end walls. The design is Neo-classical, consisting of three bays and two storeys. There is an impost band on the ground floor and a band on the first floor. The entrance is located to the left, framed by a door-case with pilasters and a cornice. The windows are set in segmental arched recesses, with 12-pane sash windows on the first floor, except for the recess to the left, which has a pair of later single lights. Each ground floor window recess also has a similar pair of single lights. At the rear, there is a later central single-storey canted bay window, flanked by blocked window recesses. A gault brick boundary wall runs along London Road.
