Description
Ivy Lodge is a villa built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from gault brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a ridge stack on the left and front and rear stacks on the right end wall. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance is accessed by three stone steps and is framed by a door-case with pilasters and a cornice, leading to a panelled door. The eaves overhang, and there is a plinth and a sill band at the first floor. The windows are 12-pane sashes with cambered stucco arches and stone sills. Inside, there is a staircase with stick balusters and a mahogany handrail to the left of the entrance. There is a 20th-century extension to the left, which is attached to a former stable block that has been converted into a garage with accommodation above.
