Description
No. 6 Tees View is a house that was originally a service wing attached to the right of No. 5 Tees View (The Manor House). It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a graduated green slate roof with a stone stack.
The front of the house is two stories high and has four bays, with a low plinth and bands of stone at the ground and first floors. The door and window openings have raised surrounds. In the right bay, there is a part-glazed, six-panel door, while the left side has two tripartite windows, each with a six-pane central sash and three-pane side sashes. There is also a blocked doorway in the left bay that has an inserted nine-pane sash. On the first floor, the windows are identical to those below, with a nine-pane sash above the door. The roof has a moderate pitch and features a central, stepped, and corniced ridge stack. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent properties.
