Description
10 and 11 High Green are two houses built in the early 19th century, with No. 10 featuring alterations from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The buildings are constructed of roughcast and painted masonry, topped with a continuous Welsh slate roof and featuring brick and stone chimney stacks. Both houses are two stories tall, each with three bays.
No. 10 has a late 20th-century glazed door set under a recessed porch and a canted bay window to the right. No. 11 features a central part-glazed six-panel door within a raised surround that has a pedimented head, along with flanking canted bay windows. The first floor of both houses has six 12-pane sash windows in raised surrounds. The low-pitched roof includes a rendered stone ridge stack and a rebuilt brick ridge stack to the right. These houses are included in the listing for their group value.
