Description

This is a former vicarage, now divided into two dwellings. It dates to the early 18th century, with alterations and additions made in 1864. The building is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble, with a dressed sandstone right return and rear elevation. The main block has a Welsh slate roof, while the wing attached to the left has a sandstone flag roof. Brick and stone stacks are present.

The main block is three storeys high and five bays wide, with the right bay, return and rear rebuilt in 1864. Roughly-dressed quoins appear on the left side, while the right side has tooled and margined quoins. A renewed six-panel door is centrally positioned, set within a chamfered rusticated surround. Flanking this door are four-pane sashes with raised surrounds and projecting sills. Identical sashes are present on the first floor, and smaller four-pane sashes are found on the second floor, all in similar surrounds. The low-pitched roof has coped gables with shaped kneelers, two stepped and corniced stone gable stacks, and a similar ridge stack.

A two-storey, three-bay wing is attached to the left. A 20th-century addition partially obscures the ground floor. The first floor of this wing features four-pane sashes in raised surrounds. It has a low-pitched, hipped roof and a brick ridge stack. The right return of the building mirrors the front in its fenestration and features a door lintel dated 1864. The two-storey, three-bay rear elevation has a central French window and flanking tripartite windows. The first floor has a pair of sixteen-pane sashes flanked by single sixteen-pane sashes.
