Description
No. 3 High Row is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. The building features roughcast masonry and a renewed pantiled roof, along with a brick chimney. It is two stories tall with a three-bay front. The central entrance has a 20th-century part-glazed door, while the left bay contains a 4-pane sash window with a raised sill. To the right, there is a late 19th-century canted bay window, which has a 4-pane center and 2-pane sides. On the first floor, there is a blank central bay flanked by two 4-pane sash windows, also with raised sills. The steeply-pitched roof has a coped left gable with a shaped kneeler, and the right end features a chimney made of handmade, narrow bricks. The house is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
