Description

No. 4 High Row is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with roughly-dressed quoins and has a roughcast front. The roof is covered with large Welsh slates and features rendered brick stacks.

The building is two stories high with a two-bay front that has a low plinth. The door and window openings are framed with architraves. To the right, there is a six-panel door with an overlight that has radial glazing bars, and to the left, there is a 12-pane sash window with a raised sill. On the first floor, there are two 12-pane sash windows, also with raised sills. The moderately-pitched roof has coped gables with shaped kneelers and two gable stacks.
