Description

No. 6 High Row is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. It features roughcast masonry and a pantiled roof with a rendered brick stack. The building is two stories high and has a two-bay front. On the ground floor, there is a late 20th-century door set in a raised and tooled surround to the left, and to the right, there is a 4-pane sash window with a projecting sill, although the intermediate glazing bars have been removed. The first floor has a single late 19th-century 4-pane sash window with a raised sill. The roof has a moderate pitch with slightly-swept eaves, a coped left gable with a shaped kneeler, and a tall stack at the right end. This building is included for its group value.
