Description
Wells Tye Farm Barn, located 30 metres to the northeast of the farmhouse, is a barn dating from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn features five bays, with an additional bay added in the 18th century, and includes three aisled bays. The roof is supported by side purlins and an arched Queen strut design. There are braces connecting the purlins to the jowled storey posts, and the structure includes two midstreys.
