Description

Albans is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, with subsequent additions and alterations. It is two storeys and has an attic. The house is timber-framed and has plastered walls, with some sections clad in weatherboarding. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and is hipped over a crosswing. Most windows are casement windows, largely arranged in groups of three, with some featuring pightle hinges and swan head catches. A 20th-century tiled porch extends outwards, and it has a board door. A second board door is located to the left, with a pentice board overhang. There are three red brick chimney stacks present.
