Description

The barn located to the east of Teybrook Farmhouse dates from the 15th century and has been extended in later years. It consists of five bays arranged east-west and features a south-facing midstrey. The roofs are hipped at all three ends and the structure is one storey high. The main posts have long jowls, and the studs and rafters are mostly re-used, made from wide, flat cross sections. The barn is finished with black weatherboarding and has corrugated iron roofs, which include tie-beams, collars, and side-purlins.
