Description

The barn located to the south of Boars Tye Farmhouse dates back to the early 17th century. It is a timber-framed structure featuring five bays and has a gabled midstrey on the southern side. The walls are covered with weatherboarding, and the roof is made of corrugated asbestos. The heavy oak frame includes large curved braces supporting the tie beams, and it has a frame side purlin roof.
