Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres east of Bacons Farmhouse, dates back to the early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn is four bays long and features a midstrey on the west side. Originally, it had an aisle to the east, but this has now been infilled below the arcade plate. The structure includes curved through bracing at the ends and straight bracing in other areas, along with hanging knee braces.
