Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage, altered in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and clad in weatherboarding, with a tiled roof. The cottage has three bays, with a central entrance. There are external chimney stacks at each gable end, dating to the 19th century. It is a single-storey building with attic space. The front has two 20th-century casement windows and a rustic, tiled porch. A boarded door with a small glass pane sits centrally. A dormer window with a gabled shape is present, featuring 20th-century scalloped bargeboards and a casement window. The building's name is related to that of Turnberry Cottage (serial No. 3/7).
