Description
A barn dating to the 16th century stands approximately 20 metres north west of Stone Hall. The barn is timber-framed and was originally plastered, now with a weatherboarded dado. The roof is thatched. It comprises four bays aligned north-south, with a midstrey facing east. A one-bay extension, narrower and lower than the main barn, adjoins the south side. The barn has a half-hipped north end and a hipped south end, featuring jowled storey posts and cambered tiebeams with arch braces.
A range of stables and ancillary buildings, likely dating to the 18th or 19th century, runs approximately east-west and is situated about 10 metres north north west of Stone Hall. These buildings are timber-framed, incorporating both weatherboarding and plastering, with a thatched gabled roof. This range is listed for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
