Description
Stone Hall is a house built in the early 19th century and extended in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick with roughcast render and has slate roofs. The original structure was a rectangular block featuring a central door on the symmetrical north elevation, with two hipped roofs of shallow pitch. There is an internal chimney stack in the middle of the eastern section and an external chimney stack on the western wall, both dating from the early 19th century.
In the late 19th century, an eastern wing was added, extending to the north and creating an L-shaped plan. This wing has a gabled roof with a normal slate pitch and includes one internal chimney stack near the southern end. On the ground floor of the north elevation, there is one late 19th-century sash window with nine lights and two early 19th-century sash windows with twelve lights. The entrance features a six-panelled door with a shallow hood. On the first floor, there is one late 19th-century sash window with twelve lights and three early 19th-century sash windows with twelve lights, some of which contain crown glass. The original staircase is located in the central entrance hall of the early 19th-century block.
