Description

The timber framed barn at Bacons Farm is an 18th-century structure consisting of seven bays and is weatherboarded. It features primary bracing above the side-girts, with posts that do not have jowls and well-crafted hanging knees that are bolted on. The barn has a collared roof supported by side-purlins. There is one midstrey located centrally in the original building, to which two additional bays were added at a later date. The roof is clad with slate.
