Description

This barn, located approximately 40 metres southeast of Bacon's Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. The barn consists of four bays and features a midstrey to the south. It has straight tie beams with hanging knees and through bracing. This structure is noted as an unusually late example of barn framing, predominantly made from new hardwood.
