Description

CHAPPEL POPE'S ROAD 1. 5214 Pope's Hall TL 82 NE 6/15 II 2. C15 house, timber flamed and plastered, formerly jettied on crosswing front ends. H plan. Two storeys with attics, roofs ridged and gabled, peg-tiled. Front door in centre of east front with semi-hexagonal bay window of circa 1700 on north wing. Both crosswing gables jettied at tie-beams. Extension at south-west of plan. All windows now leaded casements. Inside a staircase with turned pine balustrade.
