Description

Martyns Croft is a small house that appears to date from the 18th century. It is timber framed and consists of a single long range that is one storey high, featuring chevron patterned plaster on the south end. The house has two pairs of 8-pane hornless sash windows on the north side and two pairs of 8-pane casement windows on the south side. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and there are two red brick chimney stacks. At the south end, there is a former black weatherboarded one-bay cottage that has a gabled peg-tiled roof and is now attached to the main structure.
