Description

This is a 15th-century house located on Watling Street in Thaxted. It features a gabled and jettied cross-wing projecting from the west end. The house is timber-framed with plaster infill, and much of the original timber framing remains visible on the exterior. It has a red plain tile roof. The house is two storeys high, with a three-window facade. Modern leaded casement windows are set into some of the original window openings.
