Description

The Swan Hotel is a 17th-century timber-framed building with an 18th-century painted brick facade. It features a red plain tile hipped roof and stands two storeys tall. The front has a range of seven windows, which are double-hung vertical sliding sashes, with two of them being blind on the first floor. There are three doorcases with pediment heads. The building has a parapet and a modillioned string course, with the centre front breaking forward. The timber frame is exposed on the interior, and there are red brick chimney stacks.
