Description

This is an early 19th century house in Thaxsted, built using a timber frame and plastered walls, with a red plain tile roof. It is two storeys high and has a three-window facade. The windows are 19th-century double-hung sash windows. There are 19th and 20th century shopfronts. The tops of the original chimney stacks were rebuilt in the 20th century, featuring compressed gaults and a Modillioned eaves cornice.
