Description
North House and The Picture Pot is a house that dates from the 18th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with plastered walls and a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The building has five bays facing northwest and includes an axial stack in the second bay from the right, along with a rear wing on the right side. It stands two storeys tall.
On the ground floor, there is an early 20th-century double shop window with a central half-glazed door, one early 19th-century sash window with six lights, and one 20th-century casement window. The first floor has three similar sash windows and one reproduction sash. The entrance features a four-panel flush door topped with a shallow hood. Additionally, there is a copper Royal firemark located below the eaves. The building is listed for its group value context.
