Description
The Manse is a house built in the early 19th century, specifically in 1810. It features a plastered exterior and a slate roof, with a rectangular plan that faces south. At the rear, there are two external stacks and a two-storey lean-to extension, along with single-storey extensions beyond. The building has three storeys.
On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century sash windows, each with 16 lights. The first floor has two similar windows and a central sash window with twelve lights, also from the early 19th century. The attic features three horizontally sliding sash windows, each with eight lights, dating back to the same period.
The entrance is marked by a central six-panel door, which has a moulded doorcase and an elliptical arch above it, enclosing a fanlight with geometrical tracery. The roof is low-pitched and hipped.
