Description

No. 4 The Causeway is a cottage from the 18th century that has been altered in the 20th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. The cottage has two bays facing west and features an external stack at the left end. It is one storey high with attics. On the ground floor, there is one 19th-century casement window, and on the first floor, there are two casement windows, one of which is located in a gabled half-dormer. The entrance has a 20th-century door with a shallow gabled hood. This building is listed for its group value.
