Description

Nos. 11 and 15 on Newbiggen Street are late 18th century or early 19th century houses made of painted brick, topped with a grey slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a two-window range with double-hung vertical sliding sashes that include glazing bars. They have gauged brick arches above the windows. A flat canopy supported by fretted brackets and pilasters covers the entrance, which has a six-panel door. There is an iron tie rod boss at the center front, decorated with a floral motif. Modern extensions have been added to the rear.
