Description

Nos. 18-20 on Yarmouth Road are two houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and topped with a slate roof. The facade is symmetrical and features two storeys with seven bays, where the central windows are blind. There are doors on the right and left, each set under segmental arches. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, positioned beneath gauged skew-back arches. A timber eaves cornice runs along the bottom of the hipped roof, which has a central ridge stack. The walls at the ends are ramped and project to enclose wrought iron railings and gates made of square section verticals.
